Spn Reverse Bang 2014/15

I waited eagerly all summer to see my favourite Bang come again ! Thanks a lot to all the mods of the event :)
Needless to say, I planned a lot, and didn't do much. Maybe one day I'll go back/forward to multiples colored pieces \o/ (but that is not that day).

First of all, thank you SO MUCH to walking_tornado for being a/my pinch-hitter, the kind of awesome people who take care that nobody gets left behind, as well as an awesome author. I had fun talking to you and thank you for putting up with my take-eras-to-reply :,)
So all of you, go read the story here now ! I'll have to wait a little to read it, but I can tell you already it is really good (and also has a title that rocks. I love that title, ok ?)

Summary: Jensen's only plan is to go down fighting, and then he meets Jared.



Random notes :

• Of all my drawings so far this is probably the one who change the most, composition wise. It's an old idea I had (as I never get to make all the early birds submissions, I always plan two or three ideas and they all have to wait year after year) and while the scene/story behind never really changed, it took me a long time to find a view I really liked. I didn't render it as well as I wanted to (they're actually supposed to be both way farther than the other but I kind of fucked up the perspective there :'l )


• The flowers/plants were done last minute and IT SHOWS. Why did I made them so wiggly they just clash with all the other lines aaarrrh. They look a little too much like alguae in my taste. They're actually medicinal plants though, so it might makes sense that they look a little funny. Regarding the next point, I changed (in the story in my head that created this drawing) Sam/Jared's role in his little society from guardian to sorta apprentice healer/all around runner of errands.


• I wanted at first for Sam/Jared to be a newbie guardian of the borders of his kin's lands, looking out for a sound he heard in the forest. But then I thought that with just the set up and not the story I vaguely imagined behind people would thought that Sam/Jared was actually the one hunting hurt!Dean/Jensen, and I didn't want much for it to go this road.


• Why is Jensen's face so hard to draw ??


• Did you see how I manage to only draw two hands out of four ? :B


• Surprise appearance of Astérix's magic potion gourd on Sam/Jared's belt.


• I FORGOT HIS ANTLERS NO HOW DID I. Oh my, I'm laughing right there XD Let's say it's because he's still young and are hidden under his luscious mop of hair.


• Deers are cool :)
